Ice that remained on the Souris River at Logan Tuesday afternoon was a contributing factor to a rise that has resulted in minor flooding. The level of the river was officially recorded at 35.17 feet shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday. Flood stage at Logan’s George Bell Bridge is 34 feet. The level of the Souris is expected to drop when the ice breaks up. As of Tuesday, the high water had not reached any structures in the Logan area.
