Bev Kasprick, 72, Hillsboro, passed away March 19, 2013, at her home with hospice care and family by her side.
Bev was born March 1, 1941, in Minot, the daughter of Milton and Opal Olson. She grew up and attended school in Glenburn. Bev married Wallace Bartch in 1957. They moved to Hillsboro in 1968. While in Hillsboro Bev taught ceramic classes.
In 1981 she married Ernest Kasprick and spent 21 years in East Grand Forks, Minn. Bev loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After the passing of Ernie in 2002, she moved back to Hillsboro.
Bev will be greatly missed by: her children, Kristy Bartch-Magnusson (Steve), Fargo, Kimberly Folstrom, Hillsboro, Kelly Buhr (Terry), West Fargo, Kirk Bartch, East Grand Forks, Kory Bartch, Barnesville, Minn., Kari Patselov (Gene), Fargo; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, Sharon Olson, Drusilla Keating, Robert (Lynnette) Olson and Chris (Faith) Olson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Olson; stepmother, Marian Olson; husband, Ernest Kasprick; and brother-in-law, Erling Olson.
Funeral Service: Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 11 a.m., in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Hillsboro.
Burial: At a later date at The Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, Minn. Visitation: Friday, March 22, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, and Saturday, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church.
Prayer Service: Friday, 7 p.m., at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Hillsboro.
