New officers elected for 2013 at the annual meeting for Souris Valley United Way on Thursday included: Jarid Lundeen, Tires Plus, president; Megan Grundstrom, The Preferred Companies, vice president; Scott Moum, Minot Public Schools, treasurer; and Leslie Coughlin, Coughlin Development, past president.
Newly elected to Souris Valley United Way Board of Directors are Mary Keller, Mary Me Bridal, and Kevin Burckhard, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
Lundeen was recognized for his leadership as campaign chair during the 2012 Fall Campaign. A record $610,000 was raised to assist 26 local programs which help those in need.
Bianca Grosche, First Western Bank & Trust, retired from the board of directors, and was commended for her many years of service and stewardship.
"The annual meeting is a good time for us to reflect on the past year and what we want to accomplish for the community in the future," said Patricia Smith, executive director.
