Rafael Medina’s 11:40 a.m. flight from Minot International Airport to Minneapolis was canceled Saturday due to what he was told was a “mechanical error.” Medina would have to wait in the terminal for nearly six hours before boarding a new flight. An as yet unidentified problem prompted the cancelation of at least one flight Saturday and all early morning flights were delayed due to a de-icing truck malfunction.
