Joseph Martin of Emerado and Dakota Faught of Amenia matched each other shot-for-shot during two days of competition. Remarkably, Martin edged Faught 558 to 557 to win the State Junior title and 560 to 559 to claim Sectional honors.
The North Dakota Intermediate Junior championship went to Megan Tichy of Tower City with a 531 of 600, a single point better than Kohl Klein of Bismarck. Mari Butler of Casselton captured both the State Sub-Junior and Sectional Sub-Junior championships. Madison Lehner of Minot was runner-up in both events.
Lana Fairbanks of Bismarck finished first in the Intermediate Junior Sectionals.
