CANDO - Helen Benson, 97, Bisbee, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in a Cando hospital.
She was born June 27, 1915, to Herman and Mathilda Dressen, near Rugby. She married Edwin Benson Oct. 21, 1934.
Survivors: daughters, Nona Berg and Ardis Hunter; sons, David and Hilman; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, 2 p.m., Cando Lutheran Church, Cando.
Burial: Halling Cemetery, rural Bisbee, in the spring.
Prayer service: Friday, 7 p.m., in Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home, Cando.
Visitation: Saturday, one hour prior to the service, in the church.
