A private funeral was held Saturday, Dec. 15, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Tolley for Ludmilla Mattei, 91, of Kenmare, formerly of Donnybrook, who passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Trinity Hospital in Minot. Interment was at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Tolley.
Ludmilla Maria "Milly" Hercl was born June 2, 1921, in Leoben, Austria. She came to the United States and married Walter A. Mattei on Aug. 19, 1962, in Tolley. They lived in rural Donnybrook until 1994, when they moved to Kenmare.
Walter passed away on Oct. 12, 1999. Following her husband's death, Milly continued to reside in Kenmare.
Milly was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Tolley.
Milly was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; parents; and a sister.
