BOWDON Phyllis Kost, 89, Wahpeton, formerly Bowdon, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, in a Wahpeton nursing home.
She was born Feb. 5, 1923, to William and Jenny Goughnour, in Hatton. She married Wayne Kost Nov. 4, in Martin.
Survivors: daughters, LaVonne Beckler, Fergus Falls, Minn., Lucinda Wallner, Wahpeton; sons, Lee Kost, Watford City, Kelly, Bismarck; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother Myron; and sister, Ada Bjerke.
Funeral: Monday, 10:30 a.m., Bowdon School Auditorium, Bowdon.
Burial: Wayside Cemetery, Bowdon.
Visitation: Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m., in Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden, and Monday, one hour prior to the service, in the school auditorium.
Visitation was also held Friday at Willow Creek Chapel, Wahpeton.
