WILLISTON Verna Carlson, 73, Williston, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, in a Williston nursing home.
She was born July 4, 1939, to David and Rose Blumhagen, near Drake. She married David Carlson June 30, 1961, near Drake.
Survivors: husband; daughter, C. Cody Torkelson, Bismarck; son, Russell, Meridian, Idaho; five grandchildren; seven great-grandhildren; brother, Herbert, rural Drake; sisters, Florence Blumhagen, rural Drake, Freda McKay, Velva.
Funeral: Tuesday, 2 p.m., Cornerstone First Baptist Church, Williston.
Burial: Riverview Cemetery, Williston.
Visitation: Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, in the church.
