James Madison once said, "All just and free government derives from social impact. Just powers of government derive from the consent of the governed. Because all men are created equal." No one has the right to rule anyone else the only legitimate source of rule in the consent of those being ruled. We as citizens need to have a say in how we are to be ruled.
Be aware of what is happening in Congress. We cannot compromise our gun rights. It is a true threat of freedom to the American people not to be able to defend themselves. A lady who grew up in Nazi, Germany, once told me that the Nazis confiscated their guns and promised to protect them. The Nazis didn't protect them; they murdered many in the Holocaust. The Germans couldn't protect themselves with their guns. They were naive. Let us not be so naive.
Gun grabbers use tragedies to falsely explain what guns do. Guns do nothing by themselves. It is the person behind the gun that pulls the trigger. When you are the one that needs to be able to protect yourself and family, then what?
