WILLISTON Arthur Charlton, 80, Williston, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, a Williston hospital.
He was born May 21, 1932, to Arthur and Tina Charlton, in Portal. He was drafted in the Army in 1952 and was sent to Japan. He was stationed in Japan until he was discharged in 1954. He married his wife, Ryoko, May 7, 1958.
Survivors: wife; brother, Ernest, Minot; and sister, Cassie, of California.
According to his wishes, he donated his body to science and no services are planned. Cremation will take place later.
