Minot Fire Department personnel work to determine the best way to extricate a pickup truck that smashed into this home at 872 Bluebell Drive shortly after 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The pickup was traveling west on 37th Avenue Southwest when it crossed two lanes of traffic, jumped the curb, knocked down a metal light pole, traveled onto the lawn and snapped off several evergreen trees before striking the home.
