Bismarck shuts out Tauros
BISMARCK - The Minot Minotauros saw their six-game winning streak come to an end in a 3-0 loss to Bismarck on Friday.
Bismarck's Adam Knochenmus scored twice for the Bobcats (14-11-2 overall), including the eventual game-winner at five minutes, eight seconds of the first period.
The Tauros (11-13-1) and Bobcats each registered 31 shots on goal, but Minot couldn't get the puck past Bismarck goaltender Aaron Nelson. Tyler Parks finished with 28 saves for the Tauros.
The Tauros travel to play Aberdeen (S.D.) tonight at 7:15.

Magi split pair of wrestling matches
GRAND FORKS - The Minot High School wrestling team split a pair of dual matches Friday at the Sertoma tournament at Grand Forks Central.
The Magicians beat Fertile-Beltrami, a school out of Minnesota, 40-39 but fell to Jamestown 44-28.
Minot's Cody Haugen notched a first-period pin in each dual and heavyweight Nick Nesdahl pinned Jamestown opponent Cullen Goter in one minute, 31 seconds.
The Magicians continue the tournament today.
