DEVILS LAKE Mavis Gerrells, 81, Devils Lake, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, in a Devils Lake nursing home.
She was born June 7, 1931, to Hugo and Selma Garske, near Garske. She married Jay Gerrells on Oct. 20, 1950.
Survivors: husband; daughters, Judy Gerrells, Minneapolis, and Lorrie Pescion, Fargo; son, Scott, Devils Lake; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother, Kermit, Devils Lake.
Funeral: Monday, 3 p.m., St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Devils Lake.
Burial: Devils Lake Cemetery.
Visitation: Sunday, 3 to 5:30 p.m., Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake.
