As a sports staff, we realize different readers like to get information via different platforms. We also realize that not every piece of information some may find interesting fits into our stories.
To supplement our daily print section, we're extending our coverage via Twitter and a sports blog.
On our blog, which can found on the minotdailynews.com homepage, we'll post nuggets of information relevant to our local readership. On Twitter, we'll link to articles, provide live updates and commentary from games and post breaking sports news and scores from throughout the area.
For this to be successful, we need your help. Twitter and blogs work best with reader interaction, and we'd appreciate your feedback through comments on our blogs and follows on Twitter.
Ryan Collingwood, our Class A and Minot High School beat reporter, will post Magicians updates with the handle @Collingwood_MDN. He'll also have information about Williston State College, Dakota College at Bottineau and area high school athletes who are playing collegiately.
Adam Lawson (@Adam-Lawson_MDN) will tweet about Class B wrestling and boys hoops - and hopefully not about reality television.
Mike Kraft (@MKraft-22_MDN) will handle coverage of the Minot Minotauros, the Minot State men's club hockey team and Class B girls basketball.
And for extra coverage of Minot State University and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, give me a follow at @DAllar_MDN.
Thanks for reading, and we look forward to providing you with this multi-platform coverage.
