Gordon Willis Gullickson, 67, Minot, and formerly of Crosby, died on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, in a Minot hospital.
Gordon was born on Sept. 4, 1945, in Minot, to Willis and Myrna (Olson) Gullickson. He was raised and educated in Minot, Antler, Burlington and Logan. As a young adult he was employed by Logan area farmers and by Gullickson Trucking as a truck driver.
Gordon was once married to Patty Heifort. Gordon was employed by the Ward County Highway Department. Then he began employment with the Canadian Pacific/ Soo Line Railway in 1971 and was stationed in Minot and Crosby during his 14.5 years with the railroad. Later, he was employed by Souris Valley Construction prior to his retirement due to a disability.
Gordon was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed reading, music, playing guitar and collecting miniature model antique cars.
Gordon is survived by: his children, Donna (Chad) Martel, of Bismarck, Lynette (Allen) Delano, of Berthold, Justin Edwards and Christa Edwards, both of Minot; grandchildren, Derrick, Dominic, Dallas, Layla, Peyton, Lilly and Adriana; sisters, Sandy Krueger, of Minot, and Rhonda (Maury) Francis, of Logan; longtime companion and mother of three of his children, Mary Edwards, of Minot; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Dwayne Gullickson.
Celebration of the Life of Gordon Gullickson: Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment: Will be in Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Today, Dec. 6, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
