PEORIA, Ariz. - John Kemper, 63, of Surprise, Ariz., formerly of Minot and of the Drake area, died Nov. 21, 2012, in Surprise.
He was born Oct. 23, 1949, to Edward and Freda Kemper, in Harvey. He served in the Air Force, including during Vietnam and the Desert Storm era, and then retired as a master sergeant after 30 years of service.
He married Annie Pivirotto on Oct. 23, 1974, in Phoenix.
