WILLISTON Leland Milton Christopherson, 93, Williston, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, in a Williston hospital.
He was born Jan. 22, 1919, to Otto and Thora Christopherson, near Epping. He enlisted in the Army July 22, 1944. He served in the European Theater of War: Ardennes, France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He was discharged March 19, 1946.
Survivors: sons, Leland Philip, of St. Mary's, Ga., Lon, Gillette, Wyo.; daughters, Laura Thornhill, of Edmonds, Wash., Shari Pierce, of Casper, Wyo.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchild-ren; brother, Donald, Epping; sister, Violet Thomas, Williston.
