RUGBY Pius Hoffert, 88, Rugby, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, in a Rugby nursing home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1924, to Joseph and Catherine Hoffart, in Elverum Township, Pierce County. He married Rose Wentz.
Survivors: daughter, Karen Christenson, Rugby; son, Tim, Fargo; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Hager, Rugby, and Barbara Piatz, Devils Lake; brother, Philip, Los Angeles.
Funeral: Saturday, 11 a.m., Little Flower Catholic Church, Rugby.
Burial: Church cemetery, Rugby.
Rosary and vigil prayer service: Friday, 7 p.m., Anderson Funeral Home, Rugby.
Visitation: Friday, 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 9 to 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home. There will be no reviewal in the church.
