ROLLA - Jim Mears, 74, Rolla, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, in a Minot hospital.
He was born Nov. 11, 1938, to Fred and Eva Mary Mears, in Rugby. He married Frances Rodwell on July 2, 1960, in Ninette, Man.
Survivors: wife; sons, Tim, Kelly and Perry, all Rolla, and Carey, Shawnee, Kan.; daughters, Tracey DeCoteau, Amanda Mears and Jessica Henry, all Rolla; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Francis, St. Paul, Minn.
Funeral: Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., St. Joachim Catholic Church, Rolla.
Burial: St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Rolla.
Visitation: Today, 7 to 9 p.m., in the church.
