HURDSFIELD Vera Thompson, 91, Hurdsfield, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, in a Harvey nursing home.
She was born July 4, 1921, to Henry and Hulda Knodel, near Chaseley. She married Norman Thompson on Nov. 30, 1941, in Hurdsfield.
Survivors: sons, Lyle, of Seattle, Larry and Lynn, both of Harvey; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Friday, 10:30 a.m., Hurdsfield Lutheran Church, Hurdsfield.
Burial: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hurdsfield.
Visitation: Thursday, 2 to 7 p.m., Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.
