A service of thanks and praise to God for the precious life of Lorraine F. Duesenberg was held Oct. 3, 2012, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Kirkwood, Mo. Burial was in Our Redeemer Cemetery, St. Louis County, Mo.
Lori was born July 23, 1938, in Minot, to LeRoy and Freda (Niewoehner) Hall. Her grew up on a farm near Newburg in Bottineau County. She attended elementary school in Russell and graduated from Newburg High School in 1956. She attended Valparaiso University and was graduated from the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing, St. Louis, in 1960. She married Robert H. Duesenberg of St. Louis on Aug. 4, 1963, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Upham.
She was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor in 2006. She answered God's call to come to Him on Sept. 28.
Lori is survived by: her husband; daughters, Lynda (Karl) Koeppen and Kirsten (Bill) Hazlett; son, John; grandchildren, Christiaan, Tristan, Ian and Elle Hazlett; sister, Naomi (James) Dunavan; brothers, Myrlin (Shirley) and David (Margaret) Hall.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Ida Niewoehner and William and Carrie Hall; her parents; and a brother, Walter, who died from a childhood illness in 1941.
