Area students won awards at a math competition held Oct. 25 at Dakota College at Bottineau. Students from Dunseith, Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood, Rugby, Drake-Anamoose, Bottineau, Velva and Turtle Mountain Community High School in Belcourt competed.
Winners included:
Algebra I, individual event winners: Marcus Mack, Velva, first place; Brad Heidlebaugh, Rugby, second place; Isaac Effertz, Velva, third place.
