The Minot State University wrestling team was picked to finish last in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference preseason coaches' poll on Friday.
MSU got one point, 10 behind eighth-place Southwest Minnesota State. Upper Iowa was picked to finish first.
Coaches voted on each weight class. The top wrestler in each class received 10 points for the team, while the fifth-place wrestler scored one.
Marcus Polak, who previously wrestled as Marcus Bausman, is the Beavers' top returning wrestler. Polak finished 29-7 last season while scoring 43 points.
MSU begins the season at the North Dakota State Open in Fargo on Nov. 10.
