MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A Wisconsin judge has set a three-week trial in the spring for a North Dakota man accused of killing his three young daughters in River Falls.

St. Croix County Circuit Judge Howard W. Cameron scheduled Aaron Schaffhausen's trial to begin on April 1 and run through April 24.

Police discovered the bodies of 11-year-old Amara, 8-year-old Sophia and 5-year-old Cecilia Schaffhausen in the River Falls home they shared with their mother in July. They also found an overturned gasoline can in the basement.

Schaffhausen, of Minot, has pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of attempted arson.
