INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn. - The Minot State University women's club hockey team dropped a third consecutive game on Sunday.
The Thunder Bay (Ontario) Queens won 4-0 behind three third-period goals. MSU coach Sam Anderson said his team, which was outshot 30-15, didn't get enough opportunities to score.
"Today they were just the better team," Anderson said. "They had the most chances. Our offense needs to click a little better."
MSU (0-3) plays at Minnesota-Duluth Saturday at 6 p.m.
