Roger Brabandt, Minot
I have known Jack Dalrymple for some time, have visited with him on many occasions, and have witnessed a dedicated public servant of integrity and high moral and ethical standards.
Dalrymple has spent a lifetime as a very successful businessman, 10 years as our lieutenant governor, and two years as our Governor and chief executive of our state that has become the envy of the nation.
Just recently, however, a letter by Nikki McAlpin that appeared in The Minot Daily News insinuating the illegality of Dalrymple's (and others) candidacy is preposterous.
According to the laws of the state of North Dakota, the candidacy(s) in question were properly filed, signed, and within the time frame as required by law.
I think everyone needs to take a deep breath and just simmer down.
