MANDAREE Jennie Whitman, 87, Bismarck, formerly of Mandaree and New Town, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, in a Bismarck hospital.
She was born May 4, 1925, in Shiprock, N.M. She served in the Women's Army Corps and was discharged in 1945. She married Albert Whitman on Nov. 10, 1949, in Washburn.
Survivors: daughters, Orbanna Whitman and Jaymee Hoffer, both Bismarck; son, Clifton, New Town; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
