RUGBY - Casper Bachmeier, 74, Rugby, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, in a Rugby hospital.
He was born March 10, 1938, to Mike and Katherine Bachmeier, near Orrin. He was inducted into the Army in January 1962. While in the Army, he was an artillery surveyor. He was discharged Dec. 6, 1963, and continued in the Army Reserve until January 1968. He married Theresa Selensky May 6, 1968, in Rugby.
Survivors: wife; daughter, Patty Denn, Tioga; one grandson; sisters, Christine Hagen and Rose Monroe, both of Conrad, Mont., Marge DeVoogdt, Devils Lake; brothers, Pete and Leo, both Cut Bank, Mont., and Louie, of Brady, Mont.
Funeral: Thursday, 11 a.m., Little Flower Catholic Church, Rugby.
Burial: Church cemetery.
Visitation: Wednesday, 5 to 7 p.m., and Thursday, 9 to 10:30 a.m., in Anderson Funeral Home, Rugby. There will be no reviewal in the church.
Rosary and vigil prayers: Wednesday, 7 p.m., in the funeral home.
