Berg best for N.D.

Ben Tollefson, Minot

If Barack Obama is re-elected to the presidency, there is no doubt that he will continue his pursuit of "green energy" initiative to the utmost.

"Green Energy" is very detrimental to North Dakota. North Dakota is an energy "oasis." Our huge reserves of coal, oil, natural gas and wind has provided us with an economy which is the envy of the nation. Literally. Thousands of good paying jobs are provided by the demand for our assets.

Under the Obama "green energy" plan most of these jobs, and the economic opportunity, could even disappear.

Electing Rick Berg to the U.S. Senate will provide the needed support for North Dakota's position on energy and the economy.

If elected, Berg's opposition will definitely follow the party line regardless what she now says to the contrary.

Obama and Harry Reid will give the marching orders, and she will follow in line with the other Democrats, as she always has.

Berg's legislative and business experience speaks for itself. His qualifications to serve all of North Dakota in the U.S. Senate is very apparent.
