DEVILS LAKE Marion Sheppard Overbo, 81, Devils Lake, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, in a Devils Lake nursing home.
She was born Aug. 29, 1931, to Esther and Ted Poissant, of Southam. She married Lawrence Sheppard on June 12, 1949, in Cando. He died July 29, 1986. She married Selmer Overbo on Oct. 25, 1991, in Devils Lake.
Survivors: sons, David Sheppard, Fargo, Ted Sheppard, Grand Forks, Jim Sheppard, Crestone, Colo.; daughter, Janice Rice, Riverside, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and her brother, Bob, of Manning, S.C.
Funeral: Saturday, 2 p.m., in Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake.
Burial: Devils Lake Cemetery.
Visitation: Today, 1 to 4 p.m., and Saturday, noon until the service, in the funeral home.
