Complaining about tax increases has fallen on deaf ears. Now just wait for county and school tax increases.
I have received many phone/email responses to my letters to the editor and they are 90 percent in agreement with me.
Enough is enough! All this expansion revenue, where is it being spent?
Flood victims rebuilding with FEMA monies, 2 percent N.D. loans and no city help if you had flood insurance. Before flood assesment = $125,000. After rebuild ( Free Labor ) $175,000 assesment.
People in the flood plain still removed? If they had flood insurance, no city help. Flood insurance is "Nickel and Diming" these people to death.
State government has huge surpluses. North Dakota has the lowest unemployment in the USA, but the state can't take care of their flood victims, roads, and infrastructure?
My Answer: Taxpayers! Get involved. Quit being complacent.
Totally vote out incumbents and elect new people, local, state, and federal. If they don't follow the taxpayers' wishes, do not vote for them again.
