Michael Montonye and Whitney Hay, both of Minot, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Michael is the son of Ronald Montonye, of Rugby, and Terri Johnson, of Grand Forks. Whitney is the daughter of Ardis and Michael Stewart, of Alamo.
Michael is a 2006 graduate of Rugby High School and is pursuing an accounting degree at Minot State University. He is a member of the North Dakota Army National Guard and works as a marketing specialist for Iostudio.
Whitney is a graduate of both Ray High School (2004) and Minnesota State University-Moorhead (2009). She works as an independent petroleum landman and is also a member of the Army National Guard.
Their wedding will be Nov. 24 in Our Savior Lutheran Church in Minot, with a reception and dance to follow in the Grand Ballroom at the Grand International Inn in Minot. No invitations are required for the dance.
