WILLISTON (AP) - Authorities say a Utah man has died of injuries suffered in an oil rig explosion in western North Dakota.
A statement from the Mountrail County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old Jeffery Kinkaid of Nephi, Utah died Friday.
The Williston Herald reports that Kinkaid was burned in an explosion on Sept. 4 at a rig site southwest of Stanley. He was taken to a Minnesota burn center after the explosion.
