What’s in a name?

I think almost everyone is familiar with the quotation from Shakespeare, "What's in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

Nevertheless, I became curious about the name of our Republican candidate for the presidency of our U.S.A., "Mitt" Romney. Through research I learned that his full name is Willard "Mitt" Romney. His father, who was once the governor of Michigan, went by the name of George Willard Romney.

"Mitt" Romney was apparently named after his father. "Mitt" was named after a relative whose first name was Milton but he always went by the nickname "Mitt."

Now I am wondering if Romney wins the election will be be sworn in as "Mitt" Romney or as Willard "Mitt" Romney?
