Gov. Jack Dalrymple's recent announcements on housing and roads show his ability to respond to the critical needs of North Dakota. Jack has responded time and again for the state in his tenure in the governor's office and he's just the kind of leader we need right now.
It's interesting to me that some people think what the state is doing is too little too late. While others were slow with ideas, Dalrymple was not. As soon as he took office, Dalrymple was recommending we use our state surplus to fix roads and get available funds to our western counties and the cities affected by flooding. Those who are critical of him had little in the way of solutions then or now. Dalrymple keeps pushing forward with support for different areas of the state. That's what being a good governor means to me and I'm proud to back Jack.
