Dennis and Melanie Smith, of 406-31st Ave. SW, No. 233, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Sunday, Aug. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot. Their children, Michael Smith, Minot; Tracey Perrone, Angola, Ind.; and Rob Smith, Maple Grove, Minn., and their families will host the event. They also have six grandchildren.
