BISMARCK (AP) - Bismarck police are investigating the theft of a pickup that was later found in the Little Heart River in Morton County.
Police tell the Bismarck Tribune that the pickup was stolen from the parking lot of a downtown Bismarck bar on Thursday night.
Morton County Sheriff Dave Shipman says someone checking irrigation pumps on the Little Heart River, about 10 miles south of saw the back end of a vehicle sticking out of the river and called authorities.
Ternes said the pickup was pulled from the river. Detectives are investigating the incident.
