Gulleson, 4 years later

I have to admit I wasn't all that surprised when I read Pam Gulleson decided to skip the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte next month. It seems the popular thing for Democrats to do these days is hide their party affiliation by staying as far away from President Obama as they possibly can.

But let's flash back to 2008, when Gulleson had a different tune on Barack Obama. That year, she served on his North Dakota presidential election committee. Four years ago she was there by Obama's side in North Dakota to help him get elected, but now that he's unpopular here and she's running for Congress, she's staying as far away from him as she can.

I wonder if Gulleson thinks the 1,400 miles between North Carolina and North Dakota will be enough distance from Obama to make voters forget she endorsed him in 2008. If she does, I'm betting she's wrong.
