Kale McHenry of Minot will receive Boy Scouts of America's highest rank, the Eagle Scout Award, on Saturday, June 9, at 2 p.m. The Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be held at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 430 N. Broadway. A reception will follow in the church's Fellowship Room.
McHenry began scouting in 2001 as a Tiger Cub with Cub Scout Pack 425 at North Hill School in Minot. He earned Cub Scouts' highest honor, the Arrow of Light, before bridging into Boy Scout Troop 425. He has held a wide variety of leadership positions, currently serving as a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster, in addition to numerous other honors and achievements. He will be a senior at Magic City Campus and is an Ordeal Member of the Order of the Arrow.
