BENEFIT SPAGHETTI DINNER PLANNED FOR MINOT WOMAN A spaghetti dinner will be served March 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 707-16th Ave. SW. Proceeds of the event will help Betty Flom-Voeller, of Minot, with medical expenses she has incurred during her treatment for liver, lymph node and lung cancer.

A freewill offering will be received for the dinner. A silent auction will be held in conjunction with the dinner.

Donations can also be made at any Gate City Bank or by mailing a check to the Betty Flom-Voeller Benefit Fund, P.O. Box 280, Minot, ND 58702.

K OF C COUNCIL PANCAKE, SAUSAGE BREAKFAST TO BE HELD SUNDAY ?Knights of Columbus #9906 benefit breakfast Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in lower level of St. Leo's Catholic Church, 218-1st St. SE.

Pancakes, country-style sausage and scrambled eggs will be served.

Proceeds of freewill offering will benefit Minot Catholic Schools.

ROAST BEEF DINNER PLANNED IN GLENBURN The 15th annual roast beef dinner at Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenburn will be March 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The cost will be $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 12. Children age 4 and under will not be charged.

Take-out meals will be available.

BERTHOLD CHURCH SETS DATE FOR ROAST PORK DINNER A roast pork dinner will be held March 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Berthold.

The cost will be $9 for adults and youth in grades 7 to 12 and $6 for children in kindergarten through Grade 6. There will be no charge for preschoolers.

Tickets for the Zion Lutheran Church Women quilt raffle will also be available at the dinner.

FIRST BAPTIST XYZ TO MEET THURSDAY First Baptist Church XYZ, a senior adult ministry for people in the 50-plus age group, will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 200-3rd St. SW.

Larry Zirtzman, director of Minot Habitat for Humanity, will present the program.

Refreshments will be served.

FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHOIR TO PRESENT 'ALIVE,' AN EASTER MUSICAL The cast and choir of First Assembly of God will present the 2012 Easter musical "Alive!" on March 30 and March 31 at 7:30 p.m. and on April 1 at 4:30 p.m. in the church at 1805-2nd St. SE.

This year's musical is a portrayal of the story of Jesus: his love, his sacrifice and his resurrection. It will illustrate how the story of Easter can become your story bringing hope to the most hopeless situations.

There will be no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be received. People should call 838-1111 after Monday for free tickets.

ANNUAL PANCAKE DINNER TO BE HELD IN MAXBASS The annual men's pancake supper at English Lutheran Church in Maxbass will be March 25 from 4 to 7 p.m.

A freewill offering will be received.

CHURCH OF GOD SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE SET FOR SUNDAY Church of God World Mission Society will sponsor a drive for school supplies for youth in kindergarten through Grade 5 on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at Barnes & Noble at Dakota Square.

There will be drawing tables and bracelet making for children. Pictures and bracelets will be presented to children who are hospitalized at Trinity Hospital.

NORTH HILL BAPTIST CHURCH TO HOST SHEETROCK INSTALLATION SEMINAR North Hill Baptist Church will host a free seminar on installing sheetrock on March 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the church, 524-21st Ave. NW.

Phil Mahoney, owner of A-American Sheetrock Inc., will provide tips on what to do and what not to do when installing sheetrock and mudding and taping.

Reservations are not required, but people should call 839-7283 or email sparrow@minot.com for planning purposes at the church.
