Book discussion set

VELVA The Velva School and Public Library along with North Dakota Humanities Council will sponsor a spring session of the Dakota Discussions program.

A discussion at 2 p.m. Feb. 26 will be on Toni Morrison's "The Bluest Eye." The discussion at 2 p.m. March 25 will be on Ana Sofia Joanes' agricultural documentary "FRESH." The documentary will be shown that evening. The discussion at 2 p.m. April 22 will be on Susan Power's "The Grass Dancer." Raymond Screws will lead the discussions.

Dakota Discussions is a grant program of the North Dakota Humanities Council. Dakota Discussion strives to foster civil discourse between citizens by creating space that encourages the exchange of ideas and questions and create a love of reading.
