Madeleinne Zacher, 17, will compete in the National Make It With Wool contest in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jan. 26-28.
Zacher won the North Dakota competition in the senior division (ages 17-24) with her layered jacket and matching skirt and scarf ensemble, main photo, with detail shown at inset.
Contestants select wool fabrics, construct a garment and then model in front of a panel of judges. Winners from each state will model in a high-profile style show that will be held at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. Educational tours and activities are also part of the event.
