DES LACS CHURCH SETS DATE FOR BAZAAR The Des Lacs United Methodist Women's Bazaar will be held today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Des Lacs City Hall.
A noon meal of scalloped potatoes and ham with fresh rolls, cooked carrots, corn, a full salad bar and a slice of pie will be served. Crafts, baked goods, cards and napkins will be available for sale.
TIOGA CHURCH PLANS ANNUAL BAZAAR First Lutheran Church of Tioga will have the annual fall bazaar Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church. A "sneak peek" will be at 10:30 a.m. The theme is "God, Gifts, Community." There will be baked goods, a door prize, crafts, lunch and lefse.
CHRISTIAN WOMEN'S CLUB TO MEET TUESDAY The Minot Christian Women's Club will meet Tuesday for a "Thanks To Our Vets" luncheon from 12:15 to 2 p.m. in the Grand International Inn in Minot. The cost is $10, which includes lunch.
Members of the Minot Chamber Chorale's Renaissance Singers will sing and the speaker will be Gena Reader of Moosehorn, Man. She will share her faith walk in her presentation, "The Poetry of Life."

ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DINNER TO BE SERVED The Salvation Army is serving their annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Parker Center, 21-1st Ave. SE, on Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m..
Musical entertainment will be provided during the event, which is open to the public of all ages.
Reservations are requested by calling the Salvation Army Corps, 838-8925, no later than Nov. 18.
PRIMETIMERS TO MEET DIFFERENT PLACE AND TIME The PrimeTimers Fellowship group from Our Redeemer's Church in Minot will meet a week early in November, at a different location. The group will meet Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the Royal Fork Buffet Restaurant in Minot. There will be lunch, praise, music and stories.
OUR REDEEMER'S CHRISTIAN SCHOOL TO HOST FUNDRAISER Our Redeemer's Christian School, of Minot, will host its second annual "A Knight at the Auction" event Nov. 12 in the new gym at 700-16th Ave. SE.
Silent auction bids can be made from 4 to 6:45 p.m. and a live auction will begin at 7 p.m. Burger baskets, $3 each, will be served from 5 to 7 p.m.
