Canadian flight team receives tour, T-shirts

The Snowbirds, an airflight demonstration team from Canada, stopped in Minot on Tuesday afternoon. There have been talks of involving the Snowbirds in an air show with proceeds benefiting the Magic City. However, as Maj. Chris Hope, team lead for the Snowbirds, stated, the Snowbirds' schedule would not immediately allow time for such a show to happen.

"I will never say it's not going to happen," Hope said optimistically.

While visiting Minot, the Snowbirds were given a tour of the flooded areas of the city. They also received T-shirts, shown at right, from Wendy Howe, executive director, and Elly DesLauriers, communications coordinator, for the Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau.
