Jamie Peterson and Blaine Kok announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Joseph and Darla Peterson, Bowbells, and Michael and Brenda Kok, Plaza.
She graduated from Kenmare High School in 2005 and from Minot State University-Bottineau in 2007. She is employed with SunPrairie Grain.
Blaine graduated from Parshall High School in 2003 and from Minot State University in 2008. He is a farmer and rancher in Plaza.
They will be married Oct. 8, 2011, at 5 p.m. in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Bowbells. A reception, dinner, and dance will follow in the Kenmare Memorial Hall in Kenmare. An invitation is not required.
