Ashley Thompson and Michael Burckhard announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Tim and Kathy Thompson, Donnybrook, and Dave and Bev Burckhard, Garrison, and Dave and Jeanine Lorenz, Minot.
She graduated from Glenburn High School in 2003 and from Minot State University in 2008. She is employed by Minot Public Schools as a third grade teacher at Perkett Elementary School in Minot.
He graduated from Minot High School in 2002 and is employed in sales and estimates for Mindt Construction Inc. in Minot.
The wedding will be Oct. 19
at 4 pm. at the Flamingo West Lawn in Las Vegas. A reception and dance will be in Minot
Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the North Dakota State Fair Center's Upper Atrium at the State Fairgrounds in Minot.
