April Foltyn and Matthew Swandal announce their engagement. Their parents are Layton and Debbie Foltyn, Minot, and Stuart and Shelly Swandal, Walcott.
She graduated from Minot High School in 1998 and from Headquarters Academy of Hair Design in Minot. She is employed at Regis Salon in Fargo. He studied business at North Dakota State University in Fargo. He is employed by J.T.'s Home Improvements in Fargo and is also in the North Dakota Air National Guard in Fargo.
They plan a Jan. 25, 2012, wedding in Negril, Jamaica.
