The Minot High School Cheerleaders and Football Program announced this week that "Gold Rush" will be held today at 8 p.m.

Pepsi Bottling of Minot is the corporate sponsor of the opening game, hosting the Grand Forks Central Knights at Duane Carlson Stadium.

The "Gold Rush" event celebrates Minot High football's return to the Duane Carlson Stadium. The event features free admission to the game, a free tailgate party from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the stadium band Cascade Sun. Also, gold beads and gold shakers will be sold at the event for $1.
