PEACE GARDEN GOSPEL EVENT PLANNED The Seventh International Country Gospel event, featuring performers from Canada and the United States, will be Aug. 20 and 21 at the International Peace Garden near Dunseith. Concessions will be on site.

Performances will be Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday's activities will include a church service at 11 a.m. with the festival taking place from 1 to 6 p.m. A freewill offering will be received for the concert.

KATIE'S KITCHEN TO REOPEN TUESDAY AT BREAD OF LIFE CHURCH Christ Lutheran Church, which was flooded, will re-open Katie's Kitchen Tuesday in Bread of Life Lutheran Church, 1415-17th Ave. SW. Serving will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Katie's Kitchen will continue at Bread of Life Lutheran Church each Tuesday until further notice.

CATHOLIC PARISHES COLLECTING USED CLOTHING, SMALL APPLIANCES The four Catholic parishes in Minot are conducting a used clothing drive for flood victims in partnership with the Minot ReStore Thrift Store. Clean clothing in good condition may be dropped off in the dining room at Our Lady of Grace Church. Used small kitchen appliances in good working condition may also be dropped off.
